It helps control emissions by delivering small amounts of fuel at precisely timed intervals. This is done in 250 millionths of a second. Moreover, the injector is timed to match the engine's rotation, so that the precise amount of fuel is injected at precisely the right moment. It also prevents the fuel from building up in the cylinders, resulting in more efficient combustion. It controls the vehicle's speed. If the speed is too high, the governor cuts off the fuel supply. This is what causes the vehicle to stall. When this happens, the rotary pump cannot function.

A Water pump moves liquid through a piping system to create a sufficient pressure for its intended use. It is powered by a pulley attached to the crankshaft. Its main job is to dissipate the heat from the engine by forcing liquid through the engine and hoses. The impeller blades create centrifugal force, causing the liquid to travel outwards. The liquid then goes back into the radiator. This process absorbs heat as the coolant travels through the engine and reaches the radiator.

In this type of pump, the inside rotor drives the outer one. The gap between these two rotary parts increases as they move away from each other. In this design, the first oil passage (17) of the transmission fluid is formed between the rotors. The rotors are connected via a cover and body to form an oil pan.
